We are a group of concerned citizens in Manteno, Illinois and surrounding areas, dedicated to protecting our community from potentially harmful economic, environmental and political decisions made by our state and local politicians. We specifically oppose the massive and potentially dangerous Gotion lithium battery plant being brought into our small, rural community… a community that does not want it or need it, cannot afford it and has laws which do not allow it.
