We are so proud of their hardwork, determination and perseverance in this battle. We would not be where we are today without their support. The People spoke! They do not support Gotion being in their County. Take notice Manteno and Kankakee County, the People do not support this. Strength in numbers!

In 2023, our elected officials cut a deal behind closed doors with Gotion, LLC to build an electric vehicle battery plant in Manteno, IL. This plant is estimated to receive over $7 billion in state and federal tax subsidies, and appallingly, Gotion is linked to the CCP and slave labor in China.
