Although the vote this evening is what we expected, it is still hard not to be emotional. We love this town and our way of life. To say we feel betrayed is an understatement. We now enter the next phase. This time next year, We The People will be working hard to replace those that led us to this moment. Those people in suits deciding what happens in our town, don’t have a vote. We do though. The Economic Alliance doesn’t have to live with this in their backyard. I can promise you, we will replace each person on the Manteno Board that is up for re-election in 2025. Buckle up becauase it’s coming quick. After we win in 2025, We The People will revoke each and every permit you people think you have granted. April 2025… you will hear our voice! Until then, see you in court.
